Alongside olive oil, we also make wine. It's called Pàmpino, and it's a San Severo Rosso D.O.C..
It's made only from grapes grown by us. In the vineyard and in the cellar, we use only what is strictly necessary: the work begins with pruning, and the harvest is strictly by hand, selecting the best bunches.
Pàmpino
- Grapes: 100% Montepulciano — 13.5% vol.
- Harvest: manual
- Vinification: destemming, pressing, fermentation with maceration in steel, spontaneous malolactic fermentation
- Aging: in steel, then in the bottle
Intense ruby color, with slight purple highlights that tend towards garnet with aging. On the nose, red fruits and spices. On the palate, it is full, dry, harmonious, and pleasantly tannic.
